It was probably the collective fatigue of the constant routine in the concrete jungle of Mumbai that brought us together. Throughout our college days, we spent hours and hours thinking and talking about the past - when humans were more creative and cities had more character. We used to wonder what went wrong? Why do our cities, buildings and our houses feel as dull as they do today?

Today, through our work, we try to break through this fatigue. We try to bring elements of curiosity and interest into every project. We experiment, tinker, make things ourselves and then introudce them to the project. When the project demands it, we go deep into the aspect of human connection and come up with designs that bring communities together. We try, in our own small way, to enrich the lives of our clients and their families.

Before coming together and starting ODD LAB, each of us gathered work experience of 4-5 years, working at various different kinds of offices. Sonal worked at large commercial offices working on large highrise projects. Anirudh worked at a mid-sized office working on museums and other commercial interior projects. Linden worked at a few smaller firms working on a range of project types while also spending a year working freelance. Grenville worked in a firm focused on green buildings and later pursued a masters degree in Environmental Architecture. Our team thus has considerable experience in all aspects of architecture and interior design. 

With our passion to create meaningful work and our experience at handling a variety of projects, ODD LAB is now ready to take on projects that allow us to explore new ideas and craft thoughtful spaces. We look forward to working closely with clients to create buildings and interiors that feel engaging, personal, and  full of life.
