The staff, design and costing departments for the expanded business of this prominent fashion design house were accomodated on the 16th floor. The cabins for the owners, the atelier and archival room were to be accomodated on the 17th floor.
As a direct reference to the ornate, extravagant fashion design produced here, the interiors too were full of mouldings, cut glass, mirrors, metal reliefs and other intricate elements. Spaces were designed for higher-income sections of society. Puffy, luxurious sofas and arm chairs were planned on polished white marble floors.
This project came with a relatively high budget and an opportunity to design freely with very little limitations. Every room was designed to have a different colour scheme. For example, one studio was designed with blue walls and the other with green. The conference room was deep red with black marble table and counters. The three main cabins too have varied themes. One was planned to feel colonial, the other had focus on olive green and wood while the third had walls covered with cut glass and mirrors.
