This project, the very first one we worked on together as a team, was for the design of three gates and the compound walls in between them.
Since this temple was culturally important to the surrounding South-Indian population, the trust wanted to renovate the existing compound wall and gates and give them the characteristicts of tradition Dravidian Gopurams typically seen in Kerala, Tamil-Nadu etc.
The moulding details, brackets, column capitols etc. were all detailed to replaicate these gopurams. All the gates and the compound wall lengths were capped with sloped clay tiles to add to the South-Indian feel.
